The 2022 Acura RDX PMC Edition has arrived!
PMC editions are vehicles that come from the Performance Manufacturing Center. They are handcrafted and have some exclusive elements. This model features an Adaptive Damper System, NSX Thermal Orange Pearl paint, Ultrasuede®-trimmed sport seats with orange contrast stitching, and more. A numbered PMC Edition badge is present and shows that it is exclusive and was built at the PMC. There are only 360 made!
The RDX PMC sits on 20" Alloy Wheels and has exclusive gloss black accents, such as on the side mirrors and door handles. It's engine is a 272-hp 2.0L Turbo 4-Cylinder with 10-speed Automatic Transmission. This model includes the Advance, A-Spec, and Tech packages. It also comes with Super Handing All-Wheel Drive, which is exclusive to Acura.
The master technicians at the PMC pay very close attention to detail and make sure they are delivering exceptional quality. This is also where the Acura NSX is made. The building is a 200,000 square foot open space that has humans and robots working in unison.
On the exterior you will also see a roof spoiler, low beam bulb with projector beam lenses LED headlights, and day time running lights. For the interior we see an instrument panel with windscreen, electric glass sunroof, Milano upholstery premium leather, a leather-trimmed tilt telescoping steering wheel, and ambient lighting. The driver sport front seats have 16-way power height, electric, power tilt, and power thigh support. Passenger sports front seats have 8-way power height and power tilt. There are split-folding rear seats as well.
For infotainment, there are 16 ELS speakers with subwoofer, surround sound, and Acura/ELS Studio. Access Android Auto or Apple CarPlay through a 10.2 in. multi-function display screen, controlled via a touchpad. There is a power liftgate Remote-Linked Power-Operated Tailgate for your convenience. You can remote start the engine, as well as enjoy keyless access with a smart card/smart key. A vehicle start button is available, too.
For safety & driver assistance features there is a LATCH system, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and more.
