
The highly anticipated new 2021 Acura TLX is said to arrive this Fall. The Type S trim should be available in Spring 2021!

A lot of changes are happening with the new TLX. Its sophisticated new chassis will enhance the cars ride and handling. Proportions are longer, lower, and wider, which gives it a sportier appearance. The engine is said to be a turbocharged 2.0L inline-four with 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. The Type S model should have a turbocharged 3.0L V6 with 10 speed automatic transmission.
All of the models will include the popular SH-AWD, which is a system that provides more high-performance dry-road handling while still applying the same all-weather advantages like the standard AWD. Pricing is expected to start around the mid $35,000 range.
The interior is a lot more stylish, which will compete with that of the BMW 3-Series and Audi 4. There are attractive analog gauges and a prominent rotary drive-mode selector in the middle of the dashboard. It has nice cabin materials, such as open-pore wood trim and real aluminum.
The passenger and cargo volume is slightly larger and there are highly adjustable front seats. You can choose from many interior colors and enjoy distinct leather upholstery. A 10.5 inch Heads Up Display makes this vehicle features simple and safe to use. A 10.2 infotainment system will be controlled through a touch pad on the center console. Steering wheel buttons and physical controls are available as well.

As for driver assistance features, there is standard adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist. There is customized ambient-lighting as well. The settings are named after iconic driving destinations and racetracks, such as the "Pacific Coast" and "Suzuka."

As for the Type S, there are a lot of differences in style. This model has four exhaust pipes, 20-inch wheels, and large mesh intakes instead of fog lights.The piano-black trim on part of the mirror caps makes them look like they are blending into the windows. Unique to the Type S, there is a green-gold color called Tiger Eye Pearl, as well as the popular Apex Blue Pearl. You will be sure to turn heads in these exciting new colors.
